 We are currently involved in an intense campaign to SAVE THE PLAYHOUSE. In order to be able to secure a permanent presence for the theatre here in the city of Santa Monica, we need your help. For $100, you will receive your name, or the name of a loved one, on a brick in the Playhouse Patio. For a donation of $250, you will receive a plaque on one of the original theatre seats, now located in our "Artists' Entrance Space". For $500 to $1000 or more, you will receive an engraved plaque on the SAVE THE PLAYHOUSE DONOR WALL of the Playhouse Foyer. Everyone says "You'll make it!" But we won't make it without everyone's help! Santa Monica Playhouse, a not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 educational corporation founded in 1960, provides exciting and entertaining dramatic and comedic, classic and contemporary live theatrical productions, Family Theatre musicals, birthday and tea parties, year-round and summer theatre workshops and educational programming for young people, teens and adults, create-a-play classes and Mommy and Me events for pre-schoolers, daytime and after school enrichment classes and in-service in public and private schools, cultural exchange, international touring, and community outreach, as well as theatre rental space for productions, seminars, solo shows, concerts, recitals, lectures, meetings and more. |
