Jews and Blacks test democracy, Tempers, home values, flawed liberal thinking and Jewish guilt in conservative St. Louis, 1963 when colored people buying in a classy white neighborhood was a definite NO NO! Dr. Daniel Black, a negro bio-chemist, is determined to buy a house in an upscale white (mostly Jewish) neighborhood, even if it ruffles some feathers.  The house is owned by home builder Jeff Bluestein, a Jewish liberal, who discovers breaking the color barrier could break his bank account and his marriage.  The prejudicial uproar results in tense drama and laugh-out-loud comedy.  YOU'LL LAUGH, YOU'LL CRY, YOU'LL THINK.

In the 1930's, Marlene Dietrich and Maurice Chevalier were Paramount's biggest stars.  They met in Hollywood and fell in lust, which turned into a true love that lasted two lifetimes.  During World War II, Dietrich entertained GIs at the front and became a hero, Chevalier, in occupied France, sang and was accused of collaboration.  The war brought them back together when Marlene learned that Maurice was on trial for treason.  This is a fascinating, revealing, true story with 15 wonderfully sung signature songs.  Drama-Logue called it “A heartfelt homage to two wonderfully courageous performers.  A Delightful, Inspiring evening of theatre”.
