Enchanted Lunchtime Theatre

       This lively and creative Mommy (or Daddy) and Me performing adventure, which includes story time, theatre games, craft-making, face painting and play building with members of Actors’ Repertory Theatre.

 

 

The Silver Key: a search for the way out

       A very contemporary fairy tale quest for the Lost Souls, the Water of Life and the answer to the Unanswerable Riddle.

Shoppers Without Borders

       A screwball comedy set in London on the infamous Chelsea Harbor Moorings.  An East (London) meets West (Coast) couple deal with life aboard a “floating rabbit-hutch” of a boat and discover when it comes to debt, marriage is about learning to share.

All Aboard The U.S.S. Friendship

       A musical mystery on the high seas, as bumbling (or is she?) French detective Peugeot tries to ferret out the culprits from a host of finalists in the “National Devil’s-Food-Cake-Mix Devil’s Island Treasure Hunt.”

Wonderland

       A contemporary reworking of Lewis Carroll’s classic adventure that harnesses the looking glass sensibilities of old to up-end the tumultuous conditions of our modern existence.
 

Black and Bluestein and Dietrich & Chevalier

       Two vastly entertaining and provocative plays by award winning playwright, Jerry Mayer (“Almost Perfect,” “Aspirin &  Elephants,” “A Love Affair,” “Killjoy,” “2 ACROSS,” etc.)     EXTENDED!

Santa Monica Playhouse, a not-for-profit 501 (c) 3 educational corporation founded in 1960, provides exciting and entertaining dramatic and comedic, classic and contemporary live theatrical productions, Family Theatre musicals, birthday and tea parties, year-round and summer theatre workshops and educational programming for young people, teens and adults, create-a-play classes and Mommy and Me events for pre-schoolers, daytime and after school enrichment classes and in-service in public and private schools, cultural exchange, international touring, and community outreach, as well as theatre rental space for productions, seminars, solo shows, concerts, recitals, lectures, meetings and more.
