After communing with the spirit of her deceased Great-Great-Grandmother, Shannon “Sweetpea” Cameron returns home to her tiny South Carolina hometown to try and convince her ​no-nonsense Grandmother to start a cannabis farm on the land where their ancestors were enslaved.

Sheri D. Bradford (Writer/Performer) is a Los Angeles-based writer, producer, and performer whose writing focuses on Family, The South, and the intersection of comedy and drama in the everyday absurdities of life. Her original pilot, HIGH COTTON won her the 2022 Opportunity Agenda Culture & Narrative Fellowship, and the year prior, HIGH COTTON won Sheri a spot in the Yes And... Laughter Lab competition. In 2018, Sheri became a Film Independent Project Involve Fellow, and the short she produced, MASCULINE/MASCULINE, premiered at the Oscar-qualifying Los Angeles Film Festival and Atlanta Film Festival. Also in 2018, Sheri earned the 21st Century Fox Global Inclusion Fellowship.
Beverly Page (Director/Performer) is the President & CEO of Orlando Community Arts, Inc and is a 1978 graduate of South Carolina State University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Drama/minor in Speech Communication. Additionally, Beverly has a Master’s Degree (M.A.) in Education and post-graduate credentials in Educational Leadership/Supervision and Theatre Directing. Her professional credits include work in Production Management, Stage Management, Playwriting, Costume Management, and Fundraising. Beverly Page also has 25+ years as an educator in the public school system.
Joao (John) Pedro Mascarenhas (Set Designer) Originally from Brazil, John is a digital artist and painter specializing in scenery, backgrounds, themes, and world-building. His style varies from realistic to animated, with bold use of colors and atmosphere. John started drawing as a young child and there is nothing he enjoys doing more than this!
