It’s the world premiere of acclaimed playwright Jerry Mayer’s 11th play, a serious, no BS comedy for our times.
Jewish Stanley and Catholic Kathy meet, fall in love, and get ready to present their upcoming nuptials to the family. Little do they know that their fathers, Jewish Marvin and Catholic Chris, once boyhood besties, are now bitterest enemies. Will Stanley and Kathy make it to the altar with blessings or curses? A match made in heaven or in hell?
As they say, “Hope for the best, plan for the worst, and pray that the law of averages is on your side when the schmutz hits the fan.” Interfaith lovers, in-your-face fathers, what could possibly go wrong?

JEWS R 2 MUCH FUN stars Tara Brown (Bosch, My Crazy Ex, Love in Bloom), Patrick Censoplano (Grey’s Anatomy, Coming to Hollywood, Turning Thirty), Jamie Gallo (Almost Perfect, Climax, Lifestyle Media), Paul Linke (Parenthood, K-PAX, CHiPs, Judging Amy; the "Time" plays - Time Flies When You're Alive [HBO, Cable Ace Award nomination], Life After Time, Father Time), Evelyn Rudie* (A Love Affair, Raise Me Up, Aleichem Sholom) and Chris DeCarlo* (Mistakes Were Made, Author! Author! – an evening with Sholom Aleichem, Moliere’s The Fools).
Composer Steve Mayer (You Haven’t Changed A Bit, and Other Lies), provides the melody for “The Jewish Gift of Laughter” and incidental music as well. Costumes are by award-winning designer Ashley Hayes (The Clown Prince), with set, multi-media and lighting by James Cooper. George J. Vennes III is production stage manager.
